Fair pricing in Sofia: 40 to 80 euro a month all-in, or some freelancers pay per-piece — a monthly filing fee plus 100 to 250 euro once a year for the annual tax return and contribution equalization. Quotes above 100 a month for a no-employee freelancer are Sofia-center pricing for English-speaking service, not more service. As an EOOD: real double-entry bookkeeping, corporate tax return, annual financial statements and publication. Without VAT registration, 80 to 150 euro a month is fair; with VAT filings (which you would have), 120 to 250. Watch for the two standard extras: annual closing is often billed as a 13th monthly fee, and payroll runs 10 to 20 euro per person per month if you ever hire. What separates accountants worth a premium: they are registered as your electronic representative with the NRA so filings and checks happen without you; they answer within a day or two in decent English; they proactively tell you about deadline and rule changes (like the recent VAT threshold changes) rather than reacting; and they will put advice in writing. Interview two or three, ask specifically who files, who is liable for errors, and what is excluded from the monthly fee.
